How To “Gift” Fashion Jewelry

Wednesday, November 23rd, 2011

The Holidays are here, and once again, you ask yourself “What do I buy her?” Every woman loves receiving jewelry gifts from the important people in her life, whether it is from a good friend, her father, her brother, her sister, or her significant other. This makes jewelry a very special gift, and it can be challenging. Here are some tips to help you out.

- Gifting jewelry takes a lot of patience. Take a look at the type of jewelry she wears. If she wears jewelry everyday, she might like something simple. If
she reserves it for special occasions, a bold or chunky piece might be appropriate.
- Does she wear gold or silver? If she wears only silver, she probably does not like wearing gold, and vice versa. Does she wear plain pieces or pieces that
are studded with stones? And, are the stones clear or colored?
- Pearls are always classic. Colored pearls are pretty as well, and can be worn with jeans or a cocktail dress.
-What items does she wear? Is she an earring or necklace person? Does she like bracelets or rings? If you want to buy something unique, it may be nice to
buy it as a set of necklace and earrings, or a bracelet/ring. For example, if you buy her just the necklace, it may be hard for her to find counterparts to
match.
-Take her size into consideration. A large statement necklace will not look good on a petite woman.

Finally, realize that when she wears your gift, she will constantly be reminded of your love and appreciation.
